Fusing techno, garage, and the broken rhythms of contemporary bass, Graze's eight-track full length LP rattles the ribcage – with a bittersweet bent. Despite living on separate continents, Toronto’s Christian “XI” Andersen and Berlin’s Adam Marshall have come up with three long­players and a handful of singles and EPs in the space of just two years.

Following their acclaimed debut mini­LP Graze (NK42) and its follow­up, Edges (NK47), Graze return with a new album, Soft Gamma Repeater. The album finds Graze continuing to develop and refine their singular voice, enmeshing a tough percussive edge with the rich textures of dance music at its deepest. But it doesn’t take many listens to realise that Soft Gamma Repeater is also their fullest and most accomplished effort to date, as well as their most cohesive.
