The festival welcomes you to the exhibition at le Commun, which includes five installations created by international artists, exploring the link between space, light, movement and sound. The ground floor of le Commun will also work as a spot of hospitality and life during the ten days of the festival, with a bar, ticketing office, information and merchandising point. This central venue, heart of the festival, is this year laid out by first year architecture students from the ALICE laboratory (École Polytechnique Fédérale, Lausanne), under the project code name "CornerMerzbau".
By general request, Munken strikes back and returns for the second year to set the exhibition’s opening to music. Good news never comes alone: he will make a threesome. First with Gregor Dubster, his designated partner in crime within the Superposition productions; then with Jimmy El Lungo, renowned for its selections combining kosmische Musik, italo disco and rare grooves. Their invigorating set will be perfectly synched with the theme of the movement, explored in this year’s installations.
